In pharmacy education, we are experiencing the “new normal” after an “inflection point” along with a host of other overused phrases. Yet, without doubt, there is pressing need to reconsider what was once standard operating procedure. When inflection point viewed as opportunity, it sparks strategic boom. Indeed, confluence threats and opportunities caused—or revealed—by COVID-19 pandemic setting stage for acceleration change in professional education. this paper, investigate motivations approaches accelerate needed Though prompted by demand rapid restructuring response pandemic, these ideas transcend any one driver. We argue that now time disrupt current practices through innovation leading new educational models present sample solutions. consider academic, social, technological, economic, political (ASTEP) forces driving imperative change.

این پژوهش با هدف "بررسی وضعیت موجود آموزش عالی مجازی در ایران و راههای توسعه و ارتقای آن " و با روش توصیفی-تحلیلی و پیمایشی صورت پذیرفته است. بررسی اسنادو مدارک موجود در زمینه آموزش مجازی نشان داد تعداد دانشجویان و مقاطع تحصیلی و رشته محل های دوره های الکترونیکی چندان مطلوب نبوده و از نظر کیفی نیز وضعیت شاخص خدمات آموزشی اساتید و وضعیت شبکه اینترنت در محیط آموزش مجازی نامطلوب است.
